The Irish Intervarsity Championship 2026 takes place on Saturday 28th February and is already 90% sold out. Entry includes free lunch and a professional event photo. Enter here.

The selection process for players and captains for Olympiad 2026 will commence shortly.

Interested parties should look out for announcements in the coming weeks.

Alice O'Gorman, current Irish Women's Champion, will give Coaching Session 3 in Skerries on Tue 3 Mar at 7:15 pm. Her talk aimed at junior, improvers and more advanced players will deal with "Taking Advantage of Inactive Play". It will be interactive and will include some sparring.

Three top games from R4 of the Fingal Open can be followed live on Tue 24 Feb from 7:15pm.
