As per FIDE regulations, all players participating in a FIDE rated tournament must be paid up members of their National Federation, which in our case is the ICU which covers FIDE events in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Please renew your ICU fees online before the event at www.icu.ie/shop or send the equivalent in UK pounds along with your entry fee to B. Jamison, before the deadline.

The tournament organiser has ICU admin access to check the paid status of participants. The ICU updates the list at 06:30 each morning.

The event is free for paid-up members of Bangor Chess Club during the 2025/2026 season (as long as ICU fees are also paid-up for 2025/2026 season)

50% reduced price of 12 Euro (£10) for players paying in advance by bank transfer, Revolut or PayPal.

24 Euro (£20) for anyone paying cash on the day (if we still have space available, only players who pay in advance are guaranteed a place).
