The ICU executive today debated which candidates to vote for in the upcoming elections to be held during the Olympiad in Tromsø. The outcome was as follows:
For president of FIDE the ICU will vote for Garry Kasparov.
For president of ECU the ICU will vote for Silvio Danailov.
